How Do I Prepare and Administer My Injectable Medications?

How Do I Prepare and Administer My Injectable Medications?

Follow your care team’s guidance for all injectable medications. If you are not sure or can’t remember, call! Some injectable medications are subcutaneous and some are intramuscular, and it’s very important to follow the preparation and administration technique/location that is appropriate for your medication.

Be sure to follow safe disposal practices for all needles or syringes after you use them.

If you need a demonstration for the injectables, you can also check out the how-to videos created by our partners at Village Fertility Pharmacy  and Freedom Fertilty Pharmacy
