Lili Cai, Lic. M.Ac.

Fertility Acupuncturist

Lili Cai received her medical degree from the Shanghai College of Traditional Medicine in 1983 and is a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology with the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists. She has also practiced traditional Chinese medicine in China and Japan – and taught at the prestigious Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and New England School of Acupuncture. Her expertise lies in the areas of fertility, gynecological conditions, chronic pain and gastrointestinal problems. Close BIO
Michelle P. Hay. M.Ac.

Fertility Acupuncturist

Michelle Hay is a graduate from the New England School of Medicine, where she received her Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She has practiced acupuncture at numerous clinics in the Boston area including Pathways to Wellness and at her private practice, The Hay Clinic, PC. Michelle’s previous career was working as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting. This allows her to have insight into both the Eastern and Western ways of medicine. Her expertise lies in Women’s health, including sub/infertility, hormonal imbalance/menopausal issues, insomnia, and pulmonary issues (COPD, asthma, chronic bronchitis). Close BIO
Yan Jin, Lic. M.Ac.

Fertility Acupuncturist

Yan Jin received his medical degree from the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 and is a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture. He has practiced at the Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Longhua Clinic and the Clinic of the New England School of Acupuncture. He has taught in China, Japan, Watertown, and Brookline. His expertise lies in the areas of male infertility, male sexual dysfunction, neurological disorders and pain management. Close BIO
Ellen Leifman, Lic. M. Ac., MS., MAOM.

Fertility Acupuncturist

Ellen Leifman is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture, where she received a Masters Degree in Japanese/Chinese Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She also earned an additional Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. She is on the faculty at New England School of Acupuncture, where she serves as a clinical supervisor. She has worked at Mt. Auburn Women’s Center and Harvard Teaching Hospitals. Her clinical interests and areas of expertise include infertility, hormonal imbalance, gynecological issues, migraines, digestive conditions, pain management, stress and anxiety. Close BIO

Hillary Wright, MEd, RD, LDN

Director of Nutritional Counseling

Hillary Wright is a registered dietitian with over twenty years’ experience counseling clients on diet and lifestyle change. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Master of Education from Boston University. Hillary specializes in nutrition and women’s health issues, and is the author of “The PCOS Diet Plan: A Natural Approach to Health for Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome” (2010), and “The Prediabetes Diet Plan: How to Reverse Prediabetes through Healthy Eating and Exercise” (2013). In addition, Hillary holds a part time position as a nutritionist for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, counseling patients during and after cancer treatment. Previously, Hillary spent 12 years as a nutritionist for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Kenmore and Cambridge practices caring for adults and children of all ages. Close BIO

Elizabeth Ward, PhD

Senior Staff Psychologist

Dr. Elizabeth Ward is a licensed psychologist who specializes in helping women/couples manage stress related to fertility challenges. She provides support and strategies to help her clients navigate depression, anxiety, loss, and relational tension. In addition to her work at Boston IVF's Wellness Center, she works as a peak performance coach with high-performing athletes, professionals, and organizations. She received her A.B. from Harvard College, her master’s in counseling psychology from the University of Denver, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University. Elizabeth is a member of Professor Ellen Langer’s mindfulness lab at Harvard University as well as the American Psychological Association, Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and Wellesley Centers for Women.
